Games for Peace visits young gamers in Abkhazia
In November 2014, Uri Mishol and David Peles from Games for Peace and Mark van Embden Andres from Elva met with youth in gaming centers throughout Abkhazia. The trainings provided the participants with a fun introduction to the game “Minecraft”. Uri and David explained how Minecraft is helping to make youth from different backgrounds in Isreal and the Middle East interact together online. The invited gamers were very interested in our approach and will be participating in online events that are being organized within the project, including the Play for Peace Weekends and Play 2 Talk Sessions.
